The Old Mutual Theatre on the Square is delighted and proud to announce its latest lunch-hour classical music concert line up. The concerts take place every Friday at 12h45 for 13h00.Tickets are still only R30.00 and include coffee and biscuits.

23rd March A French Programme for Flute and Piano with Helen Vosloo and Malcolm Nay.Works by Bizet and Debussy

30th March Flute Favourites and Fantasies performed by Isabel Bradley (flute) and Susan van der Walt (piano). Works by Gaubert, Faure, Saint-Saens and Doppler and introduced with prose and poetry

13th April The Johannesburg Harp Triowith Ventura Rosenthal (harp), Miro Chakaryan (violin) and Susan Mouton (cello). Works by Louis Spohr and Tedeschi

20th April The Goldberg Quintet with Wessel Beukes (cello), Zanta Hofmeyr (violin), Morkel Combrinck (viola) and Dalene Wilson (violin). Works by Shubert (Quartetsatz) and Beethoven’s Op 59 no1

4th May A double concerto for clarinet and viola by Max Bruch with trio Vladimir Ivanov (viola), Phillip Coetzee (clarinet) and Nadia Iankova-Loureiro (piano)
